What I had with Liz was amazing.
It is everything I had ever wanted.
Did you know that we never had a fight?
Amazing considering the terms we are on now, right? haha.
this was pointless. the end.

Where Do I Start?
I have a lot of catching up to do. I'm pretty disappointed at all the work I put into my blog about Jim Leyland to see no comments. sad face. Guess that is why I've held off posting. That is some grade A stuff, if you ask me.
I've also been playing (too much) LA Noire. Oops.
The other day I went to Meijer for grocery shopping. When I was in one of the freezers grabbing something, the old lady in her motorized cart told me to move. My reply; "Throw that bitch in reverse." In a playful manner, of course. Couple aisles later, I'm letting a woman go in front of me, and the old diabetic behind me is yelling stuff. Get out of my way, excuse me, you are rude, blah blah blah, ill get a manager. I was laughing and said please get a manager. Everyone else in that are was giving her some weird looks. Anyway, Matt and I are packing up the car, and there she is again, I am rude, nasty, she even got the license plate number on Matt's car. My last words were; God loves all people, even you! hahaha.
That was a really short version with not much editing. Hope you enjoyed.
Vancouver eliminated the sharks in game 5. Lucking bounce off a stanchion, everyone else fell asleep, Kevin Bieksa puts it on net, and bam. Vancouver to the finals. San Jose will cry like any dumb ass fans that the refs missed this icing call that supposedly hit Thing 1 before going all the way down. To me, it hits the glass before it clips him, but who cares? If San Jose wins the face-off and clears it, SJ wins. Instead, they lose it, and Vancouver scores to send it to overtime. This is big boy hockey, we cant be splitting hairs on icing calls. Joe Thornton lost the battle against Ryan Kesler. period.
Guy Boucher made the right call to bring back Rolo, and thus, we have a game 7 in Boston. This can really go either way. Boucher was in a similar situation as Leyland, except with rotating goalies. I'm going with Boston, just because rotating goalies doesn't work, and all year, I've picked against the Bolts only to be proven wrong.
Derrick Rose played like garbage this series. 17-56 the last two games, with 11 turnovers. And he is the MVP this year? awful. Boozer played well in game 4, but came up with 5 points in game 5. awesome. my pick to win it all goes down the drain. pathetic. Funny, Rose puts up all these shots and shoots under 30%, his team is losing, and he still doesn't catch as much shit as Russel Westbrook. Well, except from me. I'm just an incredible genius.
Except when I proclaimed tonight's game 5 "over" at some point in the 4th quarter. Chicago just made a big 3, and were up 77-65 with 3 minutes to go. But Bron and Wade went into beast mode, making huge shots and finishing the Bulls off for good. I'll spare you the gorey details, and give you this;
" At the end, it's all me , " Rose said. " Turnovers, missed shots, fouls. The series is over. "
You're damn skippy it was you.
And now on to a REAL MVP.

I'm with Jim Leyland
Most of what I am going to talk about stems from this article.
Back in April, I went to a Tigers game. It was an exciting game, with the Tigers digging out of a 3 run hole to tie it up (thanks mostly to Alex Avila's 2 solo shots {Alex Avila >>>>> Gerald Laird}), only to lose it in the top of the 9th.
I tried my hand at calling into 97.1 The Ticket to see if I could provide my insight as to the Tigers loss. I questioned how long Jose Valverde was left in, because the trainer had already been out there to check on him and Valverde couldn't pitch a strike if the strike zone was as large as Barry Bonds' head.
But what do I know? I'm not even that great of a baseball fan. I notoriously cheered for the Twins while the Tigers choked on cinnamon back in 2009.
" There’s a legitimate fan that calls that show that has real interest and has some knowledge and makes some sense. There’s a bunch of other people who call it that don’t know (bleep) about what they’re talking about. They just want to hear themselves on the radio and hear themselves talk. " - Jim Leyland
However I do know enough about sports to say that I'm not a better manager than Jim Leyland. I know better than to panic on a baseball team in April/May. There are 162 games in the regular season for each team, and regular season plays goes into October. This is what most fans don't understand. You can have passion, but you don't know more than the manager, GM, or announcers. If you did, well, you'd be involved with a team somewhere, somehow, some way!
" But I don’t listen to talk shows, guys that don’t know (bleep) about baseball. If you’re asking if I listen to those guys, no, I don’t....There’s nothing wrong with talk shows, people’s opinion and having some fun and arguing. But I don’t listen to those people. " - Jim Leyland
So lets get down to brass tax. You're up 2-0 in the bottom of the 9th. Rick Porcello is pitching a 1-hit shutout. He has only thrown 84 pitches, a pretty light workload for a starting pitcher. Do you send him out to close out the game? Or to you send in Valverde? You can't really go wrong either way. Jim Leyland decides to throw out Valverde. He locks it down, Tigers win. End of story, right? Not even close.
Radio morons and idiot fans will cry all day and night about leaving Porcello in. For what reason? So he can throw a complete game 1 hit shutout? Big whoop. Porcello is young and you should probably protect his arm. This is no perfect game, so take him out and make Valverde do what he gets paid to do!
" I was telling him I was good to go and he said, 'No you're not,' and that was that," Porcello said. "It's a losing battle. ... I understand it, though. We needed that win bad. [Valverde] is ready to go and that's why he's there, to close out tight games. " (From ESPN)
“ I don’t get sentimental (about) a chance to have a one-hitter. I’m here to win games. I felt that gave us the best chance to win the game, and we won the game. It could have backfired, and I would have still stuck by my decision. " - Jim Leyland
If it does backfire, then sure, roast Jim Leyland all you want. He deserves it. And he would own up to it. But really, is it HIS fault if Valverde blows the game? Closers are supposed to end games. That is why we have closers! If Porcello botches the game, then Jim Leyland left him in too long. The Tigers won the game, so he made, undoubtedly, the right decision! In the end, its all about winning the game. After all, the Cleveland Indians are not slowing down, you are sitting at .500 and you're 7 games back. Just be glad you won the game at all, avoiding a sweep by the Pirates. THE PITTSBURGH PIRATES!
" Everyone forgets that the Tigers won the game. And if Jose Valverde is not better in the ninth inning than Rick Porcello after eight innings, then we might as well not have a closer. " - Jim Leyland
Hey, if the Tigers miss the playoffs this year, I'm all for firing him. They haven't made the play-offs since 2006, when this happened. Everyone that bashes Magglio forgot about that and the great season he was having last year before he got injured. And everyone forgets that Jim Leyland was the manager for that team. This team has talent, led by Miguel Cabrera, who should have won AL MVP last year. Its tough when only 4 teams make the playoffs, but the Twins are in a really deep hole and Cleveland is a cursed sports town. Its your year to take back the AL Central crown. If it doesn't happen, then you fire Jim Leyland. Until then, forgive this old fart for winning a game.
" I’m glad I did it, and I’ll do it again tonight if we’ve got the same (bleeping) situation, if I think it gives us the best (bleeping) chance to win the (bleeping) game. " - Jim Leyland
Now, would you rather have a manager that second guesses himself and fumbles over big decisions, or a guy that shows confidence in his players? A guy that has been around the game since Barry Bonds was built like a twig and even further beyond that? Do you want a manager who calls into radio shows to ask what those guys think? Should Jim Leyland get a Twitter account or post a question on Facebook as to what he should do? I don't see Tony LaRussa doing that, nor do I see Joe Girardi tweeting about Jorge Posada wetting his nighties and Derek Jeter reading him a bed time story. And last I checked, those guys have rings. You can have Jim Leyland, or Alan Trammell. Choose wisely.

Your Mom ooooooooooooooh!
San Jose is dumb. Californians don't know hockey. And teal is NOT a cool color to be proud of. "Teal" is just an off green color. I'm all for originality, and its why I'm sad to see this. A rip off of Vancouver's Green Men. San Jose fans just ripped off the idea because they can't be creative in response. I'm pretty sure the Green Men have been around since before the play offs, so I will just call BANDWAGON on the San Jose Sharks.
Speaking of bandwagon. These hilarious signs accused Tampa fans of being bandwagoners, among other things. Probably true. Some shock jock from a radio station down in Florida got fans to call the Bruins to complain and the signs got taken down. Pansies. That is not in the spirit of playoff hockey. Which is why I'm in favor of non-traditional hockey markets like Atlanta losing their teams. Although Tampa and Phoenix have been good. Tampa fans did this, which is amazing. Fans are blaming ownership and Bettman for Atlanta's inevitable move to Winnipeg, but no one is putting up a fight for ownership to keep the Thrashers in Atlanta except the fans. Even then, they don't have enough fans to collectively raise money to own the team. haha.
By the way! Vancouver is up 3-1 in the series. San Jose got the first 5 powerplays, but couldnt convert. Vancouver got the next few powerplays, scoring 3 goals on 5 on 3 powerplays. Reffing is ridiculous!
Tampa and Boston game 5 tonight. Two nights after Boston blew a 3 goal lead in a span of 4 minutes. Does Boston bounce back? Who starts in goal for Tampa? Tim Thomas doesn't care, he is just promising a win. Dumbass.
Corey Crawford gets a new contract. Averages 2.6 million a year. Chicago couldn't pony up 2.75 million for Niemi last year. Go figure.
Lebron is becoming a clutch player. Hate to say it. D. Rose is shot 15-42 the last two games. Not very MVP like. Bosh playing like an all star, and not soft. Udonis Haslem must be the difference. Chicago actually won a lot of the statistical battles, But Miami shot 50% from the field and Made more free throws at over 80%
Speaking of MVPs...the MVP of the 08-09 season is..........THIS GUY!

I like your beard.
Ke$ha's famous words spoken directly to me. Sort of. I haven't shaved in a while. I'll use Ke$ha's admiration for beards as my excuse for growing my facial hair, which covers up my laziness. She truly is a unique character though, with her most some of her most recent posts asking fans to send her their teeth so she can make a necklace out of them. Oh well. Her music is so catchy, and if my wisdom teeth were in my possession right now, well, lets just say they'd be in Tennessee by now.
I started that long ass paper. Can't really explain where I'm at with it. but like 35% done? ish? Who knows, who cares. I started it.
Half the reason I started blogging was so I'd stop arguing with people on facebook. Alas, it hasn't happened. So the Bulls lose their game last night, and all of Chicago is going to whine about the refs. There are 1,000 more things to blame than the refs. I proposed these in a structured argument, but all I get are homers that just start calling names. So I troll back, and it really gets nowhere. I guess that was one thing Jonte was good for, decent sports debate
The fact is, you aren't going to win any games with the following on your plate:
34% field goal percentage
15% (3-20) Three Point Shots
Out-rebounded 45-41
Out-scored in the paint 50-34
D. Rose (7-23)
Luol Deng (5-15)
Carlos Boozer (7 points)
Pathetic. 17 offensive rebounds and won the turnover battle, but its sad when you get outplayed in the defensive game by a bunch of has-beens at Center and Power Forward. Granted, Udonis Haslem was the x-factor. Chris Bosh = Small Forward, btw. Fact is, you can't have an intelligent debate with people on the internet. Why do I try? Because competition fuels me. Its why I can't put Call of Duty away.
San Jose got roasted last night, 7-3. Ben Eager is the Matt Cooke of the play-offs, with 20 penalty minutes including a nasty boarding call and a taunting penalty after he scored San Jose's third goal with 2:33 left. Where was this implosion against the Wings? Guess it is represented by their blown 3-0 series lead. Either way, San Jose is done. They'll be the chokers, and Vancouver goes on to win the Cup. Book it. Canada regains hockey glory once again. Screw you and your trapezoid, Gary Bettman. NBA Douche. Canada Hater. Jew.
This was a whole lot easier to do than writing a stupid paper. This is my best job with links to date. Insert Pavel Datsyuk highlight that I didn't work into my blog here. Casually.
Tampa and Boston tonight, with a side of Verlander vs. Beckett.
And yes, I will be on that hockey game tonight, Nik. :-p
Until next time, watch The Great Fan Escape.

It is indeed a sad day.
A day in which I am more interested in a basketball game (Heat/Bulls) than a hockey game (SJ/VAN). The Bulls are my pick to win it all, and have been since the start of the season.
But to constantly see LeBron sucking is pretty damn good. He really is over rated. Chicago is dominating the rebounds and Miami can't find a big man that will help them. They just keep getting recycled.
And here it is, 2-1 Vancouver. I've missed everything. I am a fail fan. NHL on ESPN did ask which player would I start with if I had a team. Crosby, Ovie, Datsyuk, or Kesler. The fan boy in me wants Datsyuk, but he is 32. I chose Kesler. That is, if we built a team for the future. Whatevs.
My day today = Wake up at 11 am. Eat. ESPN. Go back to sleep at 2 pm. Wake up. Xbox and playoffs.
I really am pretty lazy. I can't ever get started up running for a period of time. Every time I try to start, it just gets derailed. It helps that I was decent in high school and had a good team/competition as opposed to just doing it to trim weight, which it never really helped.
I have a nice 15 page paper due Monday, a presentation, an exam Wednesday, none of which I have bothered with yet. And I got Day Day on Friday. Procrastination ftl.
Now I feel like I am forcing this blog. I need to have enough to talk about, but I want to stay consistent too. I could always take a "favorited" or "liked" video of mine from youtube, but more than half of them will be nerdy call of duty videos. Aw heck, lets give it a shot.

OMG WHY DON'T YOU DRINK ALCOHOL!?!?!
...because alcohol has done far worse for me than it ever will do good.
Do I even have to talk about my parents' divorce? The men in my family have a bad history with alcohol, including physical violence. In the battle of Nature vs. Nurture, I lose either way. My father's one night of absolute rage had the cops called, where I had to take a breathalyzer (think if I got a false positive while I was in sixth grade), and my mom/bother went through hell where my dad came away unscathed. Tell me I'm not scarred for life at 12 years old.
Do I even have to mention those nice, quaint, fun filled parties the JCC Baseball team used to throw for all of the athletes? Such great role models! 40+ people in a two bedroom apartment? Whose bright idea was that? This had little to nothing to do with me, until people started to group me in with these insensitive assholes. Thats the last thing I needed to do...lose my scholarship and get kicked off the cross country team. Where would I be then? I was only in school because I was getting this scholarship. May as well have given up then because what are my real prospects for getting into a four year school?
Alcohol, to me represents my last two breakups. First, you have the girl I am completely in love with, head over heels. Its only a matter of time before we're done with school, getting jobs, married, etc. But no, my dumbass had to take a nice 8 hour trip to Marquette only to find out she has a whole new set of friends, drinking, smoking, basically a total 180 and I had NO ONE. You can imagine what that weekend was like, as well as the trip back down. What a waste of 888 miles on my car and God knows how much money put in my gas tank. Just to have your heart crushed. Lovely.
And even if I wasn't actually cheated on, the temptation is still there. What is someone really supposed to think when you have been replaced so easily/so readily? Or the blatant truth just goes out there."In my mind we weren't together at the time" is the lame excuse that I just wont buy. How about we don't drink and thusly put ourselves in a situation where we may be tempted to cheat. And thats why I had to think about my next interest, one who apparently 65% of the time doesn't regret her cheating ways. That is healthy. So is a lady who drinks a make or break deal? Not quite sure, but obvious signs point to yes.
Its even more pathetic for those who cant hold their alcohol. One day, you and this Dramasaurusrex can't stand each other, the next, she is totally trashed and snuggling up to you like you are best friends. Now, she gets some bad news about an ex boyfriend and her WORLD IS FALLING APART and being the nice guy you are, you take care of her because she sure as hell can't do it herself. Pathetic. Way to ruin my night and the entire group im with too.
So now, tell me what good alcohol does. Beer is just another drink that costs $8 at a baseball game. Alcohol in general is just an expensive way to start acting stupid. When drinking can give me any benefits at all, and start surpassing what bad it has done to me (indirectly), then i'll think about it.

Now and Then
haha well THAT was a bad idea. Someone with that much baggage? When did I get that desperate? I have a huge paper due that I forgot about because too much of my brain is spent on girls. ugh. haha. I've been seriously considering an online dating profile, just to put it out there. I'm too afraid to ask anyone. So the idea is here.
Not that anyone really reads this, and out of 34 views I have 0 comments. but whatevs.
On a scale of 1-10, how STUPID is it to have 2 days off between games 1 & 2 in a 7 game series? With no travel, and the teams already had 10+ days off. If anything, they should play back to back! I guess that the NHL has it set up as they want, with non stop games starting today because San Jose/Vancouver gets two days off as well (which can help San Jose most at this point). Either way, not sure Tampa can continue their momentum after two days off. We'll see. Tim Thomas should bounce back.
More Triple OT, please.
Don't see Chicago being able to keep up the pace from the second half of game 1, but they are good enough to beat Miami. D. Rose = Wade, Boozer = Bosh, and there is no match for Bron except team D. Their lack of depth and inside presence is being exposed by Taj Gibson. Seriously.
Hey Jealousy is what I say to State fans when they make fun of Michigan, when people try to diss Pavel Datsyuk, etc. And yes, that video is from his rookie year. Even then he was showing flashes of brilliance, and even though Kolzig and Jagr were on the back end of their careers, Pavs totally destroyed them. Jagr looks really bad, and...well, Kolzig was helpless.
I think that every time I write a blog I should work Pavel Datsyuk into it. Sounds like a great idea to me!
ESPN can't shut up about the NFL Lockout when literally nothing new has happened in weeks. There is so much going on in sports, but instead of covering the NHL Playoffs they'd rather talk about the NFL. Why do I stick with ESPN? because I don't have TSN, damnit.
Dear, Detroit Red Wings, trade Bert and Ernie (Hudler). Re-sign Lidstrom, Miller, Ozzy, Eaves, maybe Salei. The talent pool for upcoming free agents is decent, but no one seemingly at a great price.
I leave you with this and hope that my estranged roommate isn't out cheating again. Its sad, really. But thats a story for another day.

Breastes just like Dolly Parton
Today was the perfect day to grab ya girl, lay on the couch, and fall asleep watching a movie. I hate missing out on this kind of stuff.
Yes, I am still on my Paramore kick. It seems when I get to thinking about girls I listen to non stop Paramore. It could be Hayley Williams. Flyers Fan. Orange Mic. Orange Hair. Need I say more?
NHL Playoffs continue tonight. San Jose And Vancouver. Suck it Joe Thornton. Ryan Kesler is a beast.
Would you let a robot give you a hysterectomy?
Canadian commercials are bad.
Adding comments for "Friday" has been disabled but you can still rate it "thumbs down" like 2,782,282 others.
Chicago Bulls and Miami Heat tonight.
This has been your daily waste of life. How else may I be of service to you? But don't get too crazy.

Matters of the Heart
As far back as I can remember, the minute I have officially given up on finding a girlfriend, someone always pops up. With all that I was doing these past two semesters, I was so convinced that I was "too busy" for a relationship and all the signs of relationships within my network were just falling apart. However, I never really gave up. I tried to gain a date with a girl I worked with, which didn't pan out. And as much as I megaloathe rejection, it didn't eat me up too bad, but its why its hard for me to put myself out there. Now, I don't have such a busy life and the idea of a girlfriend is creeping ever so slowly back into the picture.
Lets be real, my one relationship that actually lasted a while ended up so horribly, that I was in a funk for a good 2 years. What in this world would really make me get back into such a situation? Putting your heart on the line and having it crushed like a Japanese building in Godzilla's path? Obviously, we aren't talking some middle school BS, so you get where I am going with this.
I guess that is why for next time, whenever it may be, I need to take it slow. I may miss out on someone (as has happened before) but I swear I'm a great guy that is worth the wait, if I can just come around and make up my damn mind. You can't be too careful anymore. When all that is waiting for you, won't come any closer. You've got to reach out a little more.
Obviously, I'm on a Paramore kick. Sue me. I'm sure you can. Who likes the linking I did in this post? I'm taking votes. I think it helps people understand my randomness. Should I even blog? That is not for you to decide, so eat me. See what I mean? More to come. Stay classy. That means you, Sidney Crosby. I'm having too much fun with this. Good Night.

Back in the Saddle Again
The best way to do this is short and quick because it is 2:52 am and I can't keep struggling with this. Why the hell is Chad OchoCinco really trying to ride a bull? Whatever. This is the type of impromptu you can wish for or loathe in such blog posts of mine.
I'm here to get my thoughts down in one place, and be a bit more intimate with the people I have come closest to, even if we are so many miles apart. I am probably most inspired by a recent LiveJournal post I have found, although my situation isn't "pathetic."
And that is the beauty of the internet, because I can say my heart's desires and not have to face immediate, in your face backlash. I'm not perfect, and neither is Pavel Datsyuk, but you don't have to be perfect to be the best at what you do. I'm not really sure what I am "best" at but we all know that Pavs is the best hockey player in the world. End of Demo.
I'm just going to kind of end this now. I'm going to write whatever I wish so don't piss me off. haha. Kidding.
There is a comment section for a reason. Use it. Feedback is the ultimate #1 thing I will be looking for. As always, you peoples can reach me if you want to talk it out. Or I've otherwise talked to you before. Whatevs.
I'm thinking about posting now. This is just an introduction.
P.S. Why does spell check want me to capitalize "Internet" ? Is it that important?
P.S.S If you are wondering what is up with the title of my blog, the answer can be found here. It is also because I lack creativity/originality.
